I've articulated an initial framework on aspects of the Chinese style of developing social capital, or guanxi and how one might integrate it with strategies for growing a business. Ontologicaly, it is based in a temporal framework of trust (needs to be made more explicit). Of course, it is tight synthesis with many streams to explore... and it is lot less a description than a speculative possibility.
